Actions are Judged by Intentions/Narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA),

Narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab (RA), the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Actions are but by intentions, and every man shall have only that which he intended. If his migration was for Allah and His Messenger, then his migration was for Allah and His Messenger; but if his migration was for some worldly thing he might gain or for a woman he wished to marry, then his migration was for that which he migrated for."
